couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend the Roots – The Beauty Underground Event with some of my blogger babes. This place is great because they’re the ONLY Non-Toxic Cosmetic shop and organic coloring salon in Orange County. Also, they’re located right next to one of mine and Brett’s favorite restaurants – Lumber Yard (so good!).
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized how important it is to take care of my body and my skin. My doctor told me that your hormones change a lot in your 20’s so it’s important to adjust to the alternations. For years I use to wash my face with the same Neutrogena face wash and realized what was working for my blemishes no longer had that same effect. I knew I had to make a change so I started to branch out and try new products.Attending this event was a huge eye opener for me because it solidified how important it is to read all of the ingredients on the packaging labels. The ladies that worked there spent a lot of time with my friend Amanda and I, educating us on the importance of organic products. They were so generous and gave us tons of samples to try and I can’t wait to feature more of their products on the blog!
