Wisdom and beauty collide as Dr. Lisa of Health & Balance Integrative Medicine, educates our guests on how to make the best choices possible when it comes to choosing skincare, cosmetics + hair care.

Utilizing applied kinesiology Dr. Lisa will evaluate your products. Bring four of your favorite, hair care, skincare or cosmetic products to be tested.  This technique will help determine if your items are positively or negatively affecting your body. ROOTS the Beauty Underground, will be on hand to provide you with the perfect non-toxic swap out suggestion, including samples!

Here at ROOTS we love shaking things up...in the shower! Next time you wash your hair, we want you to change up your routine. Instead of reaching for your shampoo first, grab your conditioner. Condition from the top of your ponytail to the tips of your hair.  Let that nourish your hair for the duration of the shower.  At the end of your cleansing session, shampoo your scalp.  Make sure to cleanse your roots, then rinse your hair thoroughly.  This method will help properly hydrate your hair and stimulate the scalp all while keeping your natural volume intact.
