JAO BRAND is a mystical word inscribed on a 2000-year-old charm believed to prevent & cure disease.

Born of necessity & totally original, Jao products are the artful synthesis of ancient pharmacopoeia & modern science, retro package design & global cool. Jao Ltd. is the creation of Gale Mayron, a daughter who got lucky enough to have an amazing chemist for a father. Mayron uses only the very best ingredients in her totally original, niche brand products.

Their products are specially formulated with the very best ingredients. All of our products have NO parabens, sulphates, PEG’s, propylene glycol, TEA, DEA, phthalates, mineral oil, silicones or synthetic fragrance.

Jao products are not tested on animals, only us lucky humans. Our multi-purpose products are specially formulated without dyes, petroleum or artifical fragrances.

Our Hand Refresher is made with 65% Natural Ethyl Alcohol which kills germs safely using no bacteriostats that weaken over time & can grow resistant germs. Alcohol kills germs by drying out their cell wall. We do not use Benzalkonium Chloride or Triclosan which are bad for humans & the environment, & are known marine pollutants!

Glycerin & Glyceryl Polyacrylate are humectants. They begin with natural glycerine which is a byproduct of soap & is thickened with .2% mix of Amino Methyl Propanol & Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer which are safe & have to be used together to thicken the glycerine to become a much better moisturizer. D-Panthenol is a vitamin good for healing skin. Aloe is soothing. Methyl Glucose Ether Distearate is derived from corn sugar. It is an emollient to protect the skin from the drying effects of the alcohol. Plus we have Chamomile, Calendula, Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Geranium & Sage in our boutique blend.
